YAMAHA XVS 125 DRAGSTAR in Bath, Somerset for sale

For sale is my gorgeous 2002 Yamaha Dragstar. I can assure you that this is the best looking learner legal 125cc on the market! It's a great first bike but also brilliant for commuting etc. A very comfortable ride, with a large profile giving serious road presence. I've met many a rider who's assumed the bike to be at least a 600cc. It's got a big old v-twin, and sounds like a little harley! I've just had the bike fully MOT'D. I've also just spent £220 on a full service and on high quality parts including new brake pads, new chain/sprockets, and a new battery. I have the last two MOT certificates along with all service reports. I've had new front fork dust seals fitted in the last year, along with a full engine service [new oil, spark plugs and oil filter] and replaced the front tyre, so both tyres have plenty of life left in them. The bike is not taxed but this is ridiculously cheap and easy to do, at £16 a year. Petrol costs are cheap as hell, as you'd expect from a 125. I've just had the bike fully checked over by a qualified mechanic and he couldn't fault it in any area. The bike has done 25 707 miles and runs perfectly. A very reliable bike, starts every time. The condition is great as you can see in the pictures, with the only major defect being the missing exhaust cover, which is purely a cosmetic fault. It in no way affects the bike's performance. You can pick up a slip on cover very cheaply. I personally like the look of the bike as it is. The missing cover gives it a more custom feel. The bike has been stored in a garage for most of it's life. I'm extremely sad to see her go, but i'm in need of the money for other responsibilities. Viewing welcome.
