We looked at gerbil/hamster homes at the pet shops and they just seemed too small and a bit cruel frankly. We wanted our gerbils to have lots of space to run around in. They loved their home. This enclosure is so spacious you could easily keep 5 or more gerbils in it. This would also be ideal for breeders. Dimensions (in mm) are: W 1200 H 620 D 360 It is made of a solid-glass fish aquarium with a timber frame on top which is fully covered by wire mesh. Wooden platforms can be made so that there are three or four levels. There are two doors and the top lifts off for easy access. Accessories include: Large pet carrier - ideal for when you collect your pets from the store and for when cleaning the cage. Smaller pet carrier Excellent metal running wheel. Drink bottle Plastic enclosure with tunnel and another wheel food bowls Apple tree offcuts for climbing and gnawing on (they love it).
