VFR 800 VTEC A5 2005 Plate in Bath, Somerset for sale
VFR800 VTEC A5, registered 2005. 34,500 miles. £3500, OVNO. The Good............. Lots of service history with receipts. Upgrades including: - HID Headlights - Handle bar risers - Full colour matched official Honda Pannier set - Pannier and Top box Honda Branded internal luggage bags - Heated grips fitted (See "The Bad......") - DataTool alarm - Bubble screen fitted - Original Screen also supplied - Honda Service/Maintenance Manual - 32000 Mile VTEC Service done (Typically £350 each time) - Chain & Rear Sprocket. Told these were higher tensile/strength type fitted, not the original - Crash bungs fitted - All upgrades with receipts and carried out by qualified mechs Rear Seat cowl Headlight protector guards All keys, including spares and extras for the panniers. Also includes two remotes for Datatool alarm Current MoT till October. Fitted with Tracker (See "The Bad.......") Scottoiler fitted Bike is constantly plugged into Optimate charger to maintain battery condition. Always garaged when not in use. New rear tyre fitted not that long ago. Will check how many miles. The Bad............. Heated grip controller needs replacing. Grips worked previously, but controller now failed. No owners handbook/Service record but lots of receipts for servicing, MoT's etc.... Bike has clearly been dropped but no major damage appears to have been done. Happened before I owned it. Left side foot peg clearly slightly bent in. Tracker not confirmed working yet but even if it is, it is an old type and as such, the power source is unlikely to be charging after all this time. The Ugly............ Some cosmetics not great. Key scratch on tank but I have Honda supplied paint to restore it. Some marks on remaining body work, some caused by me when parking too close to garage wall frown emoticon Overall a good bike that I would expect to last many more miles with reasonable care and servicing. During my ownership, the bike has been well used and not left as a trophy in the garage. However, even the slightest sneeze and I send it to Bishops in Bath for checking/servicing so would consider the bike to be well cared for. Have a folder containing just about every receipt for the bike from original purchase. Viewing available most evenings and weekends. Insurance must be presented for test ride.
