I am offering online tuition in: Maths KS2, KS3, GCSE from any of the exam boards Adult Learners (QTS Numeracy) ** I am now taking bookings for next term. I have a limited number of spaces ** I have worked in Further Education Colleges lecturing Maths and ICT and University Business School lecturing in maths and computing. My background is as a researcher and academic with 20 years experience. I have achieved a PhD, BSc and BA in sciences and maths. I was nominated and won e-tutor of the year on two separate occasions by different awarding bodies. I have considerable experience tutoring online. The key skill of any tutor is the ability to explain information to the student such that they are able to grasp it. I tailor my approach to the student needs, no matter how tricky they find the subject, and tailor my explanations and guidance accordingly. My experience ranges working with students that are struggling with maths to the more able student who just needs some extra support. I work in the Axminster Devon area and my rates are £25 per hour. This includes the preparing of a tailored one to one session, setting an assignment and marking, with feedback, not just the one hour lesson itself. I use the latest whiteboard technology which is very easy to use and a worth while skill to have for future studies.
